Clinical Cases

Test yourself with our pathology cases. Practice thinking of key differentials, interpreting investigations and applying your knowledge to answer these clinical cases.

Aim of these cases

Learning medicine is much more than simply memorising facts. It’s about being able to apply your scientific knowledge to real life clinical cases. No patient is going to present in the exact same way, and even if their symptoms are strong, you will have to put together a jigsaw puzzle consisting of the symptoms, blood results, imaging, family history and much more in order to arrive at the final diagnosis.

Therefore, we are giving you a clinical case to work though each work and practice key skills like:

  • Coming up with plausible differentials
  • Interpreting blood results
  • Understanding different imaging modalities including CXR, Abdo X-ray, Plain films, CT head
  • Describing histology slides.
